Sugared & Sprayed (S&S) is a natural sugaring and spray-tanning brand, catering to womxn of all shades, shapes and sizes.

To diversify the face of hair removal and tanning one shade, shape and size at a time.
Our Priority
At S&S, we take pride in our clients and community being the centre of everything we do. Offering high quality treatments and services, we promise to meet and exceed all client needs, and expectations.
Sugaring and perfecting a flawless tan is an art form, our S&S Techs’ are trained, qualified, and all clients are in the nurturing hands of specialists. Our #1 priority is creating a first-class experience, that is like no other.
We cater to all skin types, including sensitive skin. All of our products are chemical-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.
Our treatments are eco-friendly, no sticks or strips are used during appointments, just a nitrile gloved hand, which are fully biodegradable and hypoallergenic.
Hygiene is a top priority at S&S. We’ve implemented ongoing COVID measures including, pre-screening COVID questionnaires, temperature checks and thorough sanitisation.
Our Story
From idea, to side hustle, to the brand you see today, S&S has come a long way from Shay setting up in her cousin's front room, building up her clientele, and working full-time until she was able to open the S&S studio.
Sugared & Sprayed was born in January 2018 when our founder Shaynae (mostly known as Shay), noticed a gap in the current hair removal and spray-tanning market. Observing the industry and the media surrounding it, she noticed that there was a lack of services that catered to her needs as a black womxn.
Not being able to identify with the womxn being advertised, Shay decided that change was needed.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create an ecosystem where we can boost and equip our community of womxn, with the tools needed to nurture their most intimate selves.

Our Team
Shaynae Walcott
FOUNDER AND VISIONARY
Shaynae (mostly known as Shay), our founder, a visionary and the backbone of S&S. From brand concept, to side hustling while working full-time, Shay has dedicated herself to growing the brand and pushing industry boundaries.
Drawing on her PR degree and passion for business, Shay is also a dedicated sugaring educator, teaching new Sugarista’s the art of sugaring, and offering advice on how to set up their own sugaring businesses.
Outside of S&S Shay podcasts with her mum (Finding…), and is constantly seeking new ways to heal herself, and use her findings as a way to positively impact the world, and the S&S community.
Sharaye Stanberry
CONTENT AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Sharaye (also known as Shay #2), is our Social Media and Content Manager. She is the BTS social machine, ensuring all of our content embodies the brand mission and vision.
With an eye for design, and a love for words and photography, Shay is also the Art Director for our S&S shoots, using her degree in Magazine Journalism and Feature Writing to ensure our content is A1.
Outside of S&S, Shay dedicates her time to finding balance, and sees herself as a multi-faceted human, who doesn’t fit in any one box.
